In conjunction with GITEX, the world’s largest tech conference held annually in Dubai, North Forge’s Joelle Foster (President and CEO) and Nermin Sa’d (Director of Global Entrepreneurship), undertook a journey that revealed the remarkable potential of international collaboration. They had the privilege of meeting hundreds of global start-ups, each with groundbreaking ideas spanning diverse sectors.

As esteemed guests, the North Forge team was honoured to attend the GITEX Investment Briefing, a private session hosted by His Excellency Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy. This exclusive event shed light on the UAE’s visionary 2031 plan, focusing on social, economic, investment, and development aspects.

North Forge has embraced this ideology and embarked on a mission to forge international partnerships with entrepreneurial hubs worldwide. The result? Five powerful alliances are set to redefine innovation on a global scale.

North Forge forged its inaugural alliance with Dr. Jagat Shah, an esteemed former Trade Commissioner for the Government of Manitoba. This collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the India Global Network, an organization committed to driving sustainable improvements in business performance for its clients. With hundreds of innovative Indian startups under its wing, this partnership promises to create ripples of innovation across borders.

In Pakistan, North Forge announced its partnership with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), led by Chairman Faisal Yousaf. PITB is the cornerstone of Pakistan’s public incubation network, boasting 22 incubation centers nationwide. After engaging in sessions with Pakistani entrepreneurs, the signing ceremony occurred in Lahore, Pakistan. This collaboration opens the doors to a wealth of tech initiatives and opportunities.

In a strategic move, North Forge signed dual MOUs while visiting the United Arab Emirates. The first MOU is with the Metaverse Age Training Institute, housed in the Dubai Campus, under the leadership of Raja Sajjad Hussain, CEO of Future Education and Dr. Shahina Waheed, PhD, Director Tech and Innovation. This forward-thinking institute is redefining education for the future. The second MOU was inked with Bath Spa University Academic Centre RAK, RAK Campus. These partnerships promise mutual growth, innovation, and synergies between the UK, UAE, and North Forge.

In Amman, Jordan, North Forge sealed a transformative MOU with the Jordan Entrepreneurship & Innovation Association (JEIA), led by Ala Alsallal. The JEIA is the official hub that connects and supports Jordanian talent and entrepreneurs under one voice. Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Ahmed Hanandeh, this partnership was a highlight of JEIA’s annual meeting. It brought together influential figures in business who emphasized the pivotal role of entrepreneurship and innovation in driving economic growth. Entrepreneurs had the chance to present their innovative ideas to distinguished investors and set the stage for groundbreaking collaboration.
