Maker Request

Thank you for making a request to the North Forge maker community. Our internal network of members will consider working on your request if they have the skills and resources. It is important to know that the makers are independent operators and are not employed by North Forge. North Forge only provides a connection between you and our maker community and receives no money from any party related to your project. You are responsible for making financial and logistical arrangements with a willing member to produce your items. One or more members may contact you in coming days to enquire about the project. They may or may not provide a quote on the work, and it is up to you to negotiate a suitable arrangement. Should you be contacted by multiple members, we encourage you to contact each to make the best selection. It is possible no members contact you. This may happen for a variety of reasons, including availability: makers often have “busy seasons” when they are preparing large amounts of product for an upcoming sale and have no time for separate projects. It may also be that your project is viewed as not feasible or of too low a value. Although not directly involved in your project, North Forge is interested in any feedback you can offer regarding the work, particularly if you have had a negative experience.
