North Forge is very excited to be welcoming a new Marketing and Events Specialist, Teena Lee!

Teena’s fascination for branding and marketing led her to study sociology, psychology, graphic design, traditional and digital marketing, operations, and project management to create many successful websites, apps, SaaS, and marketing projects. She’s worked for companies as small as 1 person start-ups to large multinational corporations in the information technology, manufacturing, education, retail, non-profit, and service industries.

As the Manitoba Women in Tech Ambassador Lead, and Women Techmakers Winnipeg Ambassador, Teena has been a passionate advocate for women in tech since joining the community in 2002. 

Teena is excited to be joining the dynamic North Forge community, the ever-changing tech landscape is continuously changing and scaling to support her joy for change, growth, learning, and challenges.

Having worked in tech for over 15 years, I’ve learned to think differently about how a company’s value proposition can elevate their ability to bring their revenue-generating product to the marketplace. I’m an advocate for asking “why” or “why not” and looking at an idea with a different lens which helps me bring strategic ideas forward. Being on the ground floor of local innovations and watching entrepreneurs grow prosperous companies is exhilarating and fulfilling.”
