312 William Ave. – The Fabrication Lab (FabLab™):
Our second location is North America’s largest publicly accessible fabrication lab in downtown’s historic exchange district.

If your startup is based in advanced manufacturing or product/prototype development, and you are looking for a friendly community to become a part of, then this is the place for you!

Our office spaces and coworking desks are all subsidized for those within our startup programming. This downtown location provides convenient access to the North Forge Fabrication Lab and to potential collaboration with other FabLab members.

Is there a cost associated with the access cards?

There is a one-time setup fee of $20 +GST. If your card becomes lost or stolen, there is a replacement fee of $20 +GST.

Yes! Please fill out the contact form above and let us know that you would like to see a facility. We will coordinate a date and time that you can come get a tour of the space.

You’ll be provided with a key fob for 312 William Ave. and a swipe card for 441 – 100 Innovation Drive location. Both of which give you access to the space where your desk is located.

Parking is available at the Innovation Drive office for those who have rented a co-working desk or office space for $75 per month plus GST.*

North Forge parking agreement must be signed.

Offices are available to rent only at 441-100 Innovation Drive if you are a founder in the Ascent or North Star stages of the North Forge Founders Program.*

A desk, chair, electrical, Wi-Fi, free coffee, as well as access to a printer, three meeting rooms, and a kitchenette.

Fees for non-members: $250* per month + GST

Fees for North Forge Founders in Pathfinder, Basecamp, Ascent or North Star; North Forge alumni (past participants in the North Forge programming); North Forge Fabrication Lab members; former fabrication lab members; Mitacs E-Accelerate founders; Lab2Market founders: $100* per month + GST

Access card is available for $20 + GST which give you access to the building during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Unfortunately, we do not have a hot desk option. You get a permanent desk where you can leave your belongings. We only ask that you keep your space clean and tidy.
