North Forge has 2 styles of co-working spaces available for entrepreneurs wanting to work in a collaborative environment with others who are building their futures from the ground up.

100 Innovation Drive – The Innovation Hub in the SmartPark on the University Manitoba campus:
Just steps away from Investors Group Field, this state-of-the-art building with its floor-to-ceiling windows and friendly atmosphere will help you focus your entrepreneurial journey and offers many opportunities for innovative collaboration.

125 Adelaide Street – The Fabrication Lab (FabLab™):
Our second location is North America’s largest publicly accessible fabrication lab in downtown’s historic exchange district. 

If your startup is based in advanced manufacturing or product/prototype development, and you are looking for a friendly community to become a part of, then this is the place for you!


Our office spaces and coworking desks are all subsidized and intended for those within our startup programming. This downtown location provides convenient access to the North Forge Fabrication Lab and to potential collaboration with other FabLab members. 

Our coworking desk and office spaces are available to rent only by North Forge Founders, North Forge alumni (past participants in the North Forge programming), current and alumni members of the North Forge Fabrication Lab, Mitacs E-Accelerate founders, and Lab2Market founders.

Do you have a hot desk option?

Unfortunately, we do not have a hot desk option. You get a permanent desk where you can leave your belongings. We only ask that you keep your space clean and tidy.

Do you have any options for less than one month?

Unfortunately, we are only set up for the month-to-month option.

What is the fee and what amenities are included at 125 Adelaide Street?

A desk, chair, electrical, Wi-Fi, free coffee, as well as access to a printer, meeting rooms, the boardroom and a small kitchen.

Fees: $250 per month + GST for non-members

What is the fee and what amenities are included at 441 – 100 Innovation Drive?

A desk, chair, electrical, Wi-Fi, free coffee, as well as access to a printer, three meeting rooms, and a kitchenette.

Fees: $250 per month + GST for Non-Members

Are there any hour restrictions?

There are no hour restrictions; the facilities are open 24/7/365.

You’ll be provided with a key fob for 125 Adelaide Street and a swipe card for 441 – 100 Innovation Drive location. Both of which give you access to the space where your desk is located.

Can I get a tour of a facility?

Yes! Please fill out the contact form above and let us know that you would like to see a facility. We will coordinate a date and time that you can come get a tour of the space.

Is there a cost associated with the access cards?

There is a one-time setup fee of $20 +GST. If your card becomes lost or stolen, there is a replacement fee of $20 +GST.
