Bio
Hyperfocused on reaching business goals at very young age, and worked through the many challenges to build capital and business planning to make that happen. Leveraging extremely thorough market research, was able to push for financing and navigate the very fast and extreme changes in business over the past decades to keep original business scaling. Multiple other business starts naturally took place, mostly in branding, digital marketing, and campaign strategy; especially in social media field.
Took advantage of Mentorship programs, which is why I'm so passionate about helping others build their dreams; have worked with early-stage entrepreneurs since starting the first business. I've always been extremely busy in the non-profit world, volunteering on numerous boards, as well as a very active member of the NorMan business community.
Joined North Forge in 2019 to help early-stage founders in the NorMan Region, role changed in 2020 to assist all early-stage founders in Pathfinder & Basecamp. I absolutely love working with early-stage founders and channeling that passion to start-up success. Recently, also started working with the SUV program where I get to continue this work, with founders moving to Canada.
What are your areas of strength?
1. "The Push" I really try to be an open ear, and giving a kick in the butt when needed. I find some founders sometimes need that little extra inspiration to get the job done;
2. "Creativity" when it comes to market research. (marketing & PR is a huge passion of mine)
3. "Operations" leaning towards SME. I've worked with a plethora of types of startups at NF, but have a special fondness for some of the moderate size (and sometimes not-so-tech) companies.
