North Forge has officially launched its North Forge Angel Network!

On February 24, 2021, individuals from around the world gathered virtually as Manitoba’s premier startup incubator and accelerator, North Forge Technology Exchange (North Forge), launched its new initiative: the North Forge Angel Network. Claudio Rojas, CEO of the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO), and experienced angel investors, Sandi Gilbert and Sandra Foster shared their insights and guidance about angel investing.

North Forge plans to launch hundreds of new innovative companies over the next 5 years, companies that will make an impact in Canada and beyond. We want to expand the pipeline of great deal flow, create new pools of capital, and build a new cohort of investors that look like the future, not that past. So, we are seeking investors, globally, that wish to invest in North Forge companies. We often say that “fortune favours the bold” and we believe that to be true both from the founder’s perspective and the investor’s as well,” said Joelle Foster, CEO of North Forge.

The North Forge Angel Network is a network of accredited and non-accredited individuals who wish to invest in and provide mentorship to founders who are a part of the North Forge Founders Program.

North Forge believes in a bright future fueled by angel investors with strong values. The North Forge Angel Network was created in collaboration with NACO to provide access to capital to help founders launch their companies. The Network is not a fund, but rather an opportunity to identify potential investment deals at upcoming North Forge Deal Screenings, with no fee to join.
